Leadership
Leadership is at the core of organisation excellence and is, at it's heart, about the relationships leaders have and the ways we engage with those around us. It is about how leaders relate, and how they enable movement towards the organisation's purposes with every interaction.
Leadership is about accountability and responsibility, and not just the responsibility of those with formal leadership positions, but also the responsibility of every member of the organisation. Through empowerment and self management, all members of the organisation must accept responsibility for their own roles and the roles of leaders.
Leadership is about self knowledge through reflection, authenticity, integrity, empathy and taking responsibility for the things that happen around you. When leaders work this way they create robust and ethical workplaces.
These principles are at the core of our leadership coaching and programs, and it is with these in mind that we will create, with you, a leadership program to suit your needs.

Straight Talking
We all have to have conversations we would rather not have. A conversation feels hard when we feel anxious or worried, when the issue is important to us, when we care about what will happen and the people involved.
We will often make excuses for not having straight conversations and talk ourselves out of having them. But when we do that we let everyone down, the other person, ourselves and our teams.
Having a straight or difficult conversation does raise our anxiety, and this is normal. Learning to have these conversations does not mean our anxiety will go away, but it does mean we get better at managing our anxiety in such a way that we don't avoid them.
Developing skills in having straight conversations is a core capability for everyone, and especially those of us in leadership roles.
